Museums as a tool for creativity (July 2024) Course summary and feedback

The Erasmus + course was organised for non-formal educational staff from the University of the Third Age in Penevizio in Lituania. This text is based on some of the participants´opinions of the course that they´d really like to recommend. This text is an excerpt from their report:
The theme of the Course is 'Experience of Creativity, Awareness and Methods in ADULT EDUCATION'. Considering the title of the course some of the activities took place in museums. We were invited to the famous Swedish museum called National Museum in the city centre. Two of the educational experts organised a workshop based on three different activities;
Taking photos of details on objects, discuss, create stories about eg what could have happened two hundred years ago, create a poem, a map or.... Out of the ten recommended activities we preferred the one that said: 'Do whatever suits your theme'. Finally the island Djurgården in Stockholm offers many museums like Liljevalchs Konsthall, the Destillery Museum, The Vasamuseum and finally Skansen, a museum of interest for history and culture.
Recommendations from:
PANEVEZIO TRECIOJO AMZIAUS UNIVERSITETAS, Topolių al. 12, LT-35169 Panevezys, Lithuania, OID E10161997, Zita Kazlauskienė, Rector.
