Welcome to the Greek language pages in the project's online 'Tool Kit'.  
These pages will be developed for use alongside the Modules and to provide additional reading and supporting evidence and materials related to the promotion of creativity at primary level and the importance of developing a lifelong appreciation of Art as part of developing the 'whole child'.

Intellectual Output 10 -Toolkit [Πνευματικό Προϊόν 10 – Εργαλειοθήκη]

The Toolkit in Greek language (Intellectual Output 10) is structured in the following sections:
- A brief description of the GCAO Project,
- The partners of the project and its aims; an introduction about digital means
- Applications and museums
- Digitalization of cultural heritage
- Education in formal and nonformal/informal learning environments and the 21st century skills for schoolchildren
- How teachers can use internet in order to be informed about museums’ activities
- What teachers can find on museums’ websites; other web portals and projects for arts (e.g., Europeana and Google Art Project)
- Examples of other digital activities of museums and indicative literature sources.

Indicative examples and links from Museums and Galleries from Greece and abroad are provided, specifically:
  • Digital collections, virtual exhibitions and information about artworks in written and oral form
  • Virtual tours
  • Educational material in digital form
  • Digital activities, videos, games and ideas for art activities for children
  • Educational material and other information accessible for children with disabilities (e.g. sensory maps, social stories for children with autism spectrum disorders,  videos in Sign Language with subtitles, information about accessible and multi-sensory educational material)
  • Other digital activities (e.g., digital exhibitions with children’s artworks inspired by museum objects, creative writing, arts and museum exhibits, distance museum educational programs, intergenerational digital activities, etc)
 Examples of the aforementioned activities can also be linked with the Modules of the GCAO Project.
