GCAO Online Courses

Ferens Art Gallery, Hull, UK

The main message of all our courses:

'How do the arts support creative teaching and learning for these themes':

These are a series of self-guided courses which can be downloaded from this website as pdf or power point presentations. All the courses make reference to our modules.
HOW TO ANIMATE A PAINTING
Drama activities and intercultural education

Art and Global Education and Using Art to Develop Communication Skills are available in two formats. Users can choose either a power point presentation or a web based version.  The web version will be particularly useful to facilitators who intend to offer the course remotely. It also includes an online evaluation tool.

Once all our courses are in place we will also feature a short guide for course facilitators which will support self study and also be helpful for teacher in-service and pre-service trainers who wish to adapt any of the courses for use in face to face or online training sessions. Facilitators may chose to give participants the option to register and log their progress and also to take part in a course evaluation. After the project ends (April 2023) these courses will remain on the website for at least two years.

These two course themes will be in the project languages and will become live links once the courses are completed.
